Parallax Capital Partners Hires Chief Financial Officer

LAGUNA HILLS, CA – May 13, 2008: Parallax Capital Partners is pleased to announce that Richard N. Campbell has joined the firm as its Chief Financial Officer. Richard will also become the CFO of several Parallax portfolio companies including Computron Software, LLC.

Richard comes to Parallax with over 25 years of financial and executive management experience. For the past four years he has been the Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer for SWD Communities where he had financial responsibility for over $200 million of in-fill residential communities in California, Utah and Missouri.  Prior to SWD, Richard was the CFO/Chief Operating Officer for Rand Technology a leading independent distributor of semiconductors and electronic components to the technology manufacturing industry.

Prior to Rand, he was a Partner and Chief Financial Officer for Nadek Computer Systems a provider of middle market Network Infrastructure products. Nadek was later sold to Science Application International Corporation.  Before joining Nadek, he was the Vice President of Finance at Simulation Sciences, Inc., a leading supplier of software and services for the petroleum industry and Senior Vice President & Controller at Coscan Development Corporation, a multi-divisional developer of single-family real estate projects in California. He began his career with Deloitte & Touche LP.  Richard is both a CPA and a Canadian Chartered Accountant.
